There is a conspiracy around the world to hide all the tampons from me. I keep getting caught out here unprepared and on the prowl. First the mad hunt in Vietnam that came up empty. Then the hunt around Brava, Cape Verde to get the ONLY box on tampons on the whole island. It was FOR THE LOVE OF TAMPONS

I never expected to enjoy London so much. I think I always just thought bland food, bad teeth and way too much cigarette smoke for me. But honey…I am kinda in love. The city has an easy busy energy, the people seem real and down to earth. People are not extra fancy in the streets BLACK LONDON

I had dinner with my favorite millenials today. One of my babies waxed poetic about how she no longer works “for” anyone. She explained that she now approached jobs from the perspective that she works “with” everyone that employs her. She went on to give me examples of her refusing certain task and I quietly WE ARE NOT EQUALS

Have you ever seen those movies where the uber sophisticated woman pulls up to the bar and orders her drink with very specific instructions? “A bourbon neat” she says…She is so stylish, poised, and unapologetic.
